Hello! It's me :)🎶 I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet, to go over everything :)
"We must cherish one another, watch over one another, comfort one another, and gain instruction that we may all sit down in Heaven TOGETHER!"
I just want you all to know how much I love and cherish each one of you. Thank you for being such wonderful Christ-Like examples to me. I can't wait until that day that we all can sit down in Heaven together and be united with nothing to get in the way and to all be perfected :)
This week has been pretty good, always up's and down's but overall a good week in the MLM.
We had a great lesson with Jess, one of our investigators. She is doing great. She is studying and doing all the things we ask her too. I see great potential with her. We are hoping to put her on baptismal date this week (Please pray for her). I know that she will and can find truth in the gospel as she continues do the things that Heavenly Father needs her to do and as she keeps seeking it out.
We had trade off's with the Sisters in Traverse City this week. I went with Sister Merriman. We had a very busy day. We had a couple people call us in the middle of the day wanting to meet. We ran all around. They have a lot of great people they are working with. It was fun to be in a different area for awhile, but I am always grateful to get back to Cadillac.
Funny story. They live right by some Elders so they are in the middle of Prank wars. I LOVE PRANKS! We had lots of fun with those. The elders got the sisters by putting a toilet that the sisters found in the back of their car and fish. So the next morning we pranked them back with the toilet. Oh the joys :)
Church was so amazing yesterday. I think it was the fullest I have seen the church since I got here. Many people that we have been working with are coming back to church. They are searching for the testimony that they once had. :)
I also want to say thank you for all the prayers for Sister Hughes. She is doing better and better each day. I know that she can do it and even though it is hard that she wont give up.
This week I want to share a thought that comes from a talk by Dallin H. Oaks entitled "No other Gods" He quotes President Monson and he says, “Let us have the courage to defy the consensus, the courage to stand for principle. Courage, not compromise, brings the smile of God’s approval. Courage becomes a living and an attractive virtue when it is regarded not only as a willingness to die manfully, but as the determination to live decently. A moral coward is one who is afraid to do what he thinks is right because others will disapprove or laugh. Remember that all men have their fears, but those who face their fears with dignity have courage as well.”
I absolutely love that. Let us face our fears with dignity and have courage. In Doctrine and Covenants 6:36 it says, Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not. I know that as we turn to the Lord in all the we do he will direct our paths and that we are never alone. HE is always there for us and he has provided each of us with the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost. The Savior is counting on each of you individually. He is counting on you to help those who stand of need, comfort, help and love.
121:46 The Holy Ghost shall be thy constant companion, and thy scepter an unchanging scepter of righteousness and truth; and thy dominion shall be an everlasting dominion, and without compulsory means it shall flow unto thee forever and ever.
I know that we can each be the disciples of Christ that he expects us to be. I know that President Monson is called of God and is here to help guide us and direct us each in our lives. Keep pushing forward with a steadfast faith in Christ!
I love you all so much :)
Love Always and Forever,
