Happy Pioneer Day!

🎆 Happy Pioneer Day to one and All!
I hope that you all do  something crazy and fun today. At least like a fire work or something.
This week has been a pretty good week!

We had a couple lessons with Carole, we invited her to be baptized and she has accepted. We put her on date for September 16th. She came to church yesterday and absolutely loved it! She loves the feelings that she gets there. She is painting her Trailer home and asked if we can come and help her this week. So I guess I am going to be painting a mural haha we will see how it turns out! Maybe that will scare her away or something.

I actually spoke yesterday for the first time on my mission. I think it went pretty well. I was asked to speak on How my knowledge of the scriptures helps me teach the gospel to others. President Boyd K. Packer said, "In a world ever more dangerous the Book of Mormon, Another testament of Jesus Christ has the nourishing power to heal starving spirits of the world." I also shared a couple of my favorite scriptures the first one was 1 Nephi 19:23 on how we need to liken the scriptures to ourselves and how we do that is 1. Diligently search them, 2. Fast and Pray 3. Testify to others (Alma 17:2-3). I talked about how it is our obligation to share the gospel with other as the Lord has entrusted us this duty (Alma 37:14).

We also had interviews with President Brennan this week. I really like him. He is so enthusiastic about being out here. I have gotten to know him a little bit better each week. He absolutely loves being out here and knows that there is a lot to accomplish. They are from Southern California and are up to their necks with work to do. They have a daughter right now who is serving her mission in Kentucky. After interviews he took us all (17 missionaries) out to lunch and we sat and visited there. It was a great day!

There is this lady named Gail Nelson who is a less active whom we have been working with. She is always so sad and depressed. My goal this past week was to make her smile. I accomplished that goal and even made her laugh. I am going to make her a cake for her birthday on the 27th this week! It will be a great day :)

The Elders from Manistee had a baptism on Saturday at our building which we helped set up so we were there most of the day... oh the worst story. So Friday the Elders had us make the programs so that we could copy them at the church for them. So after our dinner appointment I went to get my flash drive out of my purse to play a song and it was gone! I was dying, it was gone! I knew that I had left it at the library, in the computer after I made the programs. This flash drive is very important as it has all the pictures from my mission. So Saturday we ran over to the library really quick and God is good because it was turned into the front! What a blessing that was!!

I love you all I hope that you have a wonderful week and enjoy this beautiful summer!
Oh Transfers are this week so I will be emailing on Saturday :)
Party Hard :)
