Happy December!

Happy December to one and All!

What a blessing that it doesn't feel like December yet.. Let's just keep it that way and pray that it stays some what warm. I know that I would be extremely grateful for that!

Well what a week it has been. Let me first say that I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY! It is so great to go about teaching the message of the restored gospel.

This week we had an amazing experience. We had picked up a potential investigator a few weeks ago on trade-offs. Sister Larsen and I found her. We had texted her and she said, she couldn't meet because she was going in to have surgery on her ACL. We said okay no worries, we will stay in contact and see if there would be a better time. We texted her again and she said she is still not up to moving again. Well we waited another couple weeks and last Saturday we texted her and she said that she is feeling good enough and would love to meet. So we asked her where and gave her some places. She chose to meet at the church so we went to the church and had a wonderful lesson with her. We ended up watching the video, Joseph Smith prophet of the restoration with her. She felt the spirit so strongly and said that she just relates to him so much. She wants to keep meeting because she wants God to be a part of her life. We are so excited to keep meeting with her. She has such a sweet spirit. She also has started reading the Book of Mormon and doing Light the World! It is so great!

Wiley is still chugging right along. We are planning on having him get baptized on December 9th! Hopefully, all will work out and that we will be able to help him make that date! He is still nervous to tell his parents that he wants to get baptized but they know that he is meeting with us. It has been so amazing to see him open up to the gospel each and every time we meet with him. He wants to make sure that he understands what is truly different between the Mormons and Catholics and that he has a belief in that.

Jaylen is still Jaylen. We are trying so hard to help him. He has a desire, but loves the details. We are trying to help him build the foundation first. This week his homework is taking a Hypothesis and experimenting. His hypothesis is I believe that God is Real. Then he is going to find evidence that backs up his hypothesis. We are praying very hard for him as he wants to learn and has been studying a praying every single day.

I also have to give a shout out to little Violet! She gets baptized today and I am so happy for her! Make sure you write and tell me all about your experience!

All is well here in Kalamazoo . Oh transfer calls happened! I will be staying here with Sister Larsen for one more transfer! Then 99.9% positive one of us will leave after this transfer. Partly because president told us he won't white wash STL hah so one of us will have to leave. I get to stay with her for the Christmas season and we are so excited. We also are going to be working with a lot of new sisters which is exciting as well.

I hope that all of you were able to check out Light the World and have been participating in the first few days! It is such a wonderful opportunity to serve. I love serving and know how much happiness it can truly bring into our lives. I love you all. Stay warm and enjoy this wonderful Christmas season. Know that I am praying for you each and everyday. I love you!

Love Always,
Sister Milar
