All things good! ♥

Transfers happened this last week and I have stayed put! I am staying in Midland for another 6 weeks. :) This is honestly such a blessing for a few reasons.

1st: We met this awesome kid named Joey. Joey is 20 years old. Born and Raised in Midland. He was put in foster care at a very young age and then adopted later on. We met him through our friend named David Grimm. Joey told us the first day we talked to him that he doesn't believe in God. People tried to shove Catholicism down his throat and he just didn't believe it.

We sat and talked to him. The next day we taught him about the restoration of the gospel. He loved it and said he can just feel it.  We explained that he is feeling the spirit. We invited him to pray about it and asked if he would like to potentially be baptized if he comes to know the truth of it. He said yes! So we set a date of March 11th for him. He came to church on Sunday and loved it! He is such a character. I am so glad we were able to meet him and talk to him more.

2nd: Nicki is doing just fantastic. She has really had a change of heart these last couple of weeks and I have loved to see it. She is much more willing to dive into the scriptures and to be open minded. For example, We had a lesson yesterday about Keeping the Sabbath day Holy. We talked about the importance of putting the Lord first on the Sabbath. Pointed out that it is a commandment to keep the Sabbath holy. She said she is going to work to do that. That it will be very hard, because right now she isn't doing anything that she should besides going to church and that she is going to work towards being better. We were so proud and happy to hear that. The cool thing is that if we would have had this lesson a month ago the outcome would be completely different.

God has a plan for everyone and it is a perfect plan. I am so grateful that I get to experience such wonderful changes here in Midland and see his plan slowly but surely unfold. I love the gospel so very much. It is life changing and it is something that will always continue to change your life as you continue to study and learn. Read the scriptures, pray, go to church. Those are the things that will help you develop a better relationship with our Heavenly Father.  If you look at the first letters of each of those things I mentioned earlier you will see it spells out CPR. For all that know me know I love all things medical. Church, Prayer and Reading are the things that will keep us alive and can help us live again and more fully, just like when someone performs CPR on someone.

I hope that everyone has a fantastic day! HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!

I LOVE YOU ALL!
I also know that Heavenly Father Love You All!
Keep being so great and remember you are never alone :)
Love Sister Milar
